I received my first knife from my mother at the age of 4. It was a small fixed blade to go with my fishing gear and tackle box. I have been fascinated with them ever since.
I accumulated a small collection of inexpensive production knives over the next few years. Some were family gifts and some came from fairground prizes. I was always drawn to the wide range of shapes and designs while still being a functional utilitarian tool.
After graduating college with a degree in Fine Art Photography and working in that industry for over a decade, I stumbled into the world of full custom handmade knives. It was a rabbit hole I couldn’t resist. I gathered as much information as I could and began to teach myself knife design and making.
In 2013 I began slowly making my own knives. I love the creative process of designing and physically building a beautiful functional tool that can be carried and used daily. I strive to create functional EDCs that have clean lines, shapes and transitions. Mixing classic and modern I hope to make designs that last and stand the test of time.
