Hello , my name is Dalibor Bergam and I make knives and watches . I am from Croatia , Zagreb.
My love for knives started very early , my grandfather gave me my first knife when I was probably around the age of six and I still remember the feeling when I got it ! I felt I held something special in my hands and that feeling never changed or went away when holding a well made knife !
Little bit about my work process .
I make exclusively sole authorship integral folding knives .
When I say I make my knives 100% myself I mean just that , the only thing I outsource is raw material and ceramic detent balls . Everything else is done right here in my shop !
So from forging stainless or titanium Damascus to heat treat , polishing , grinding , making screws , pivots , bushing etc it’s all done in house by me , recently my son started working for me as well. In the end my goal is to make knives that can be admired as a piece of art while still being able handle hard use if you choose to do so !
